Akilah: My work means being comfortable being uncomfortable. Taylor Jay provides comfort when I dismantle white supremacy. I love the buttery soft fabrics that hug my body. The way I can dress pieces up or down and feel confident either way. But most importantly, I love supporting a Black woman designer who’s elevating comfort from loungewear to the ballroom!
